As part of the Pearl Technology sales team, this position is responsible for selling a broad range of IT solutions to small and medium sized businesses in a defined territory. Pearl Technology partners with the top names in Technology, including Microsoft, Cisco, and IBM to provide client solutions that support and drive their business objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Proactively develop new relationships with prospective clients throughout an assigned territory
- Prospect, cold call, and qualify new business opportunities
- Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts, soliciting new accounts, building rapport, conducting sales presentations, and preparing quotations
Qualifications
- A college degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or other related field
- 2+ years experience with selling technical services and solutions
- Business to business sales experience, which includes prospecting, cold calling and delivering presentations
- Strong communication, time management, and presentation skills
- A passion for developing new business (hunter mentality)
- A positive attitude and enthusiasm for technology
- Experience working in a team environment
- Strong hands-on PC skills with MS Office applications and CRM tools (e.g. ACT or Siebel)
- Valid auto driver’s license with safe driving record and access to reliable transportation
