Responsible for managing the Errors & Omissions Professional Liabilities departments, including the sales of all liability insurance programs within Pearl Insurance, a specialty Managing General Underwriter. The V.P. of Sales will be responsible for all regional, inside, and client renewal staff, business and operational issues as they relate to successfully administering our liability books of business. This position has growth potential to lead into a senior executive level position, managing other Sales and underwriting books of business.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Drives strategic plan to expand program business
- Manages all inside and outside sales efforts to achieve strategic results
- Works with carriers, clients, brokers, staff, and other departments in a positive and collaborative effort
- Oversees department actions are in compliance with all carrier underwriting guidelines and maintains proper internal controls to maintain above satisfactory carrier audit results
- Maintains the highest level of customer satisfaction to producers, insureds, and carriers
- Responds to all business inquiries in a timely fashion
- Manages and develops junior level staff for future growth
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, insurance, or related field
- 15+ years in sales management with a proven track record of results
- Previous management experience in insurance administration and sales
- Sound knowledge of underwriting principles
- High energy level, flexible, strategic, and ability to do “hands-on” as needed
- P&C license
